Low-friction networks make slight advantage compound until one node becomes famous for being famous. The entropical answer is quality friction: membranes, charters, keys, checksums, and local jurisdictions that keep power from collapsing into a single center.

A computational monarchy is not nostalgia for kings. It is a model of bounded authority: smaller kingdoms, counts, lords, monasteries, guilds, and taste domains, each sovereign enough to keep its climate intact, each limited enough to be checked by its neighbors.

The fabric between them has to be excellent. When the shared range is made of proof, exit, portability, reciprocal recognition, and visible consequence, the field becomes self-policing without requiring one universal ruler.
